Aria d'Italia is an original project by Tod's that celebrates the contemporary Italian lifestyle and its values: talent and passion for quality in every aspect of life, from the pleasures of the table to art, from the taste for conviviality to the loving care of traditions . The result is a harmony of doing and thinking that transcends nationality and can be embraced at all latitudes. As Costanza Chia, the artist involved in this research, says, "There is poetry in doing things calmly and with care: it is the warm Italian touch". Declining eight key words including Joy, Boldness, Passion and Heritage, Aria d'Italia tells the personal and professional stories of young artists, entrepreneurs and craftsmen who represent the heart of the Italian identity, animated by a continuous search for beauty. The protagonists of the stories are photographed by Guido Taroni in their homes and in the places that best tell their origins. The title Aria d'Italia takes its inspiration from the magazine of the same name published between 1939 and 1941 by the collector Daria Guarnati, who brought together several illustrious collaborators, including Gio Ponti. With an avant-garde taste, the magazine valued our artistic heritage in all its expressions, from graphics to literature, from art to design, and launched the concept of Italian style.
